All that matters is what you want. I wear shirts of the band The Used, and how many people hate Emo Punk, but they are my favorite band, so I do not care.
Depending on people, can sometimes be a topic of conversation or a great compliment to the power (or add) some people like to share their love for anything else. When I see someone wearing a hat, shirt, bracelet, etc., with which I am fun to watch, I will either say new shirt or other, or just thought to myself that this person has good taste;)
Enjoy fighting clothes, enjoy your hobby can become something!
