I put an offer on a short sale HUD they are saying they can only pay 1% of closing costs is that true? - homes for sale in reading

I have an offer for sale a house and asked the Bank of the seller's closing costs paid on 4 months have passed and approved, but want to pay to 2% because they can pay 1% of the HUD. Has anyone heard? I read somewhere that you can pay 5% TP. Please help someone

The Bank will seek to recover money possible from the sale. By definition, a short sale for less than the seller needs to be on it, and the bank forgives the rest
It is quite difficult to get the bank agreed to forgive a portion of the loan, much less pay the closing costs.
The agent of the buyer and seller's agents to help negotiate the seller to the lender.
If you say it is a HUD, this means that the property is HUD? Do you need a little more information.
Please ask your agent to help you understand.
